Flood waters almost cresting. Mad dash by the road crews to make sure
the interstate does not go under. Too bad they don't have the fore
sight put these precautions in place before hand. But when you build
within the flood plain of 3 mighty rivers, you are not supposed to pre
plan for flood safety. You are supposed to cram temporary safty into the
hours before disaster, and then take it all apart once this one is over.

Nice day, however down by the river. There is another story. The start
of a spring time flood with area rivers cresting at record heights.
This is down by the arch, the Mississippi is not that bad right now. The
Meramac is the worst but everything is up. It a bad situation for some
people but it is funny to watch the news. Rain, snow, wind, hot, cold
everyday the news has some sensationalized story / weather crisis.

A trip to laumeire sculpture park. These are some of my fav-o-rite
pieces. I liked the latest addition of the giant eyeball. The weather
was great, sunny and in the 60's.

Productive night of maintenance, got my bottom bracket back into my
cannondale. However I am in need of new crank arms, well at least a RH
crank arm. Tuned up my dérailleurs on the fuji, and of course brake
maintenance. Bye - bye yucky winter sludge. I guess that's the benefit
of not being able to breath = not sleeping.

Orchids from the orchid show held at the missouri botanical gardens. Itwas interesting, the garden normaly is, although the fairy tail theme of the show was weakly executed.

River Des Peres drainage works, this is 1.5 mi from my place. Storm
drains are always fun urban mt biking at its best. More picture next
ride.
