On one of the previous warm days i went on an adventure to the chain of rock bridge. It is a former bridge used on route 66, now it is a historical site along the route, offering history and two really odd building situated in the Mississippi river that i have no idea what they are but i like them.

Chair of rocks Missouri side, the bridge is exactly 1 mile to the Illinois side.

St Louis skyline about 10 miles away, the river front trail is a decent ride beginning at the arch and the trail ends here at the chain of rocks bridge.

and two of my favorite st. Louis (area) buildings. i have no idea what they are for, but the fact that they are in the middle of the Mississippi river is sweet.
