Pictures from Friday. I had the day off and got to ride around in the
morning. Had a quick lunch of cold leftovers, I don't know why I like
cold leftovers so much but I do. Then went on an adventure to ride on
the metro link and get the fuji to bigshark. So it took about an hour to
walk the three to four miles to the closest metro link station. If I
know the bus routes it would have been faster possible. However it was
more fun watching the looks people gave me while pushing the fuji
along. So the first ride was short and uneventful, I should use it more
often I think. The good news is that they fixed me up with the new
wheelset then and there, I expected to just be dropping off my bike and
then have to pick it up after a few days. It gave me the chance to
browse and find my next purchases... as if I needed an excuse buy bike
stuff... sundays another day off so that means I can give the fuji
plenty of attention.

Yeah + for safety or maybe a ++ Well I finally got a new helmet to
replace my old cracked specialized. It is the Giro Ionos comfy and
safe. Also I picked up a pair of ankle reflectors to add to my ufo
look. Tomorrow will be the first official ride of "level 9" safety.

So for those few that I've talked to about the run in with a car that I
had. Only damage done was to the wheels. So a new wheel set is needed,
which hopefully should covered by the drivers insurance. So here's some
(poor quality) camera phone pics of the wheel, the last being on the
rack after my shop check.
